Department of Foreign Languages
The Department of Foreign Languages was established at the Uzbekistan-Finland Pedagogical Institute in accordance with Resolution No. 408 of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated June 30, 2021. It operates within the Faculty of Foreign Languages and Humanities.
Faculty and Staffing: The department currently employs 19 full-time faculty members (2 for German, 2 for French, and 15 for English) and 21 part-time instructors. A total of 13 faculty members hold internationally recognized or National C1 Proficiency Certificates.
Research and Development: The primary research focus of the department is: "Methodology of Foreign Language Teaching and Issues of Modern Linguistics."

PhD Achievements: A.A. Khasanov successfully defended his PhD in 2023. M. Ashiraliyeva and G. Samatova are scheduled to defend their PhD dissertations in the 4th quarter of 2026.

Ongoing Studies: G.S. Azamatova, G.U. Kurbonova, and M.T. Furqatova are currently pursuing doctoral (DSc/PhD) degrees.

Publications: Annually, the department publishes over 40 scientific articles and more than 5 textbooks and manuals.
