History of the Department of Primary and Preschool Education Theory
The Department of Primary and Preschool Education Theory at the Samarkand State Pedagogical Institute was established on August 26, 2025, by Resolution No. 9 of the Institute Council. Currently, the department has a total of 34 full-time faculty members, including 1 Professor, 4 Acting/Associate Professors, 2 PhD holders, and 25 Assistants.
The department has evolved through several structural changes since the institute's founding:

2021–2023: Department of Theory and Practice of Primary Education.

2023–2024: Department of Primary Education Theory.

2025–2026: Department of Primary and Preschool Education Theory.

Implementing modern pedagogical and ICT tools in the classroom.

Preparing competitive personnel who meet high spiritual and moral standards.

Developing and comparing national curricula with advanced foreign educational programs.

Publishing textbooks and manuals (over 50 published to date).

Conducting scientific research (over 600 articles and 8 monographs published).
