History of the Department of Pedagogy
The Uzbekistan-Finland Pedagogical Institute of Samarkand State University was established under Resolution No. 408 of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated June 30, 2021. Following Presidential Decree No. PF-73 dated April 28, 2025, it was reorganized as the Samarkand State Pedagogical Institute.
The Department of Pedagogy was founded within the Faculty of Pedagogy, initially led by Associate Professor M.A. Fayziyev. Currently, Dr. Elbek A. Abdumannotov (PhD, Associate Professor) serves as the Head of the Department. The department maintains active partnerships with Kazan Federal University, Nizami Tashkent State Pedagogical University, and other leading national and international institutions.
