Centers and departments

Development of scientific research activities at Samarkand State Pedagogical Institute, organization of postgraduate education in the form of basic doctoral studies, doctoral studies, and independent research, as well as establishing procedures for training highly qualified scientific and scientific-pedagogical personnel;
Ensuring the implementation of tasks set in the National Personnel Training Program, Decrees of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, decisions of the Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the field of higher education, decisions of the Higher Attestation Commission under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan, orders, resolutions, regulatory documents, and methodological guidelines of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation, as well as timely execution of orders, decisions, and instructions of the Institute Rector;
Admission of candidates to basic doctoral studies, doctoral studies, and independent research based on a state order, from individuals with higher education who have completed the master’s program of a higher education institution, sent by universities or research institutes, on a competitive basis;
Organizing scientific research work in priority areas of the country’s economy to further develop science in the Republic, and enhancing the scientific potential of Samarkand State Pedagogical Institute through the training of Doctors of Philosophy (PhD) and Doctors of Science (DSc);
Coordinating the scientific research conducted by professors and lecturers in departments in the afternoon and monitoring the proper maintenance of accompanying documentation;
Collaborating with faculty deans, department heads, leading professors, and young scientists for participation of professors and lecturers in competitions for fundamental and applied research and innovative projects throughout the year;
Developing admission plans for basic doctoral students, doctoral students, and independent researchers according to the programs defined by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Innovation of the Republic of Uzbekistan;
Ensuring that doctoral dissertation topics of basic doctoral students, doctoral students, and independent researchers correspond to the directions of fundamental, applied, and innovative projects, as well as scientific projects under economic contracts carried out in priority sectors of the national economy;
Ensuring timely certification of basic doctoral students, doctoral students, and independent researchers according to their annual work plans;
Assisting professors, basic doctoral students, doctoral students, and independent researchers in performing scientific research and scientific-technical developments and implementing their results into practice;
Organizing scientific seminars and training sessions for basic doctoral students, doctoral students, and independent researchers;
Organizing academic courses for the subjects of qualifying exams for basic doctoral students, doctoral students, and independent researchers at Samarkand State Pedagogical Institute;
Creating conditions for young scientists to obtain regulatory documents for inventions and developed computer programs based on their scientific topics;
Organizing internships and business trips for young scientists according to their scientific directions to leading foreign universities, research centers, and industrial enterprises.
