Creative (Professional) Exam Programs and Evaluation Criteria for Visually Impaired Applicants

For the 2025/2026 academic year, Samarkand State Pedagogical Institute has approved adapted examination programs for blind and visually impaired students across all major and compulsory subjects:

• Language and Literature: Includes Uzbek and Russian (as major or compulsory subjects). Focuses on oral comprehension, literary analysis, and linguistic theory.

• Exact Sciences: Mathematics and Physics. Assessment covers logical reasoning, formula derivation (oral or Braille), and problem-solving strategies.

• Social Sciences: History, History of Uzbekistan, and National Ideology. Exams are conducted as oral interviews covering key historical events and concepts.

• Natural Sciences: Biology, Chemistry, and Geography. Evaluation of theoretical foundations and conceptual understanding of natural processes.

• Foreign Languages: English, French, and German. Focuses on listening skills, oral speaking, and grammar structure.
